Using solid 3/4 inch lumber (Pine Grove Woodshop uses Pine and Poplar), allows our doll furniture to use doweled butt joints, rabbet joints, dado cuts for snug, interlocking construction. It also provides enough material to use concealed fasteners. When screws are used, they are counter sunk and covered with a decorative wooden button. While these things seem little, the combination of them make for superior construction in our wooden doll furniture.

We are also proud of our commitment to the environment. Our Materials are 100 percent renewable! Pine and Poplar are some of the most plentiful species in North America. Our paint is water based and the glue used in our products contains no urea formaldehyde. A portion of our electricity is generated by a windmill which provides direct current to our shop. For days without wind, the shop has 12 solar panels.
